|Hendersons began holding auctions in Pontesbury in April 2003 and moved to Minsterley, a larger venue with ample parking in June 2004. We believe we are the fastest growing auction room in the County.
Who are we?
|Hendersons is a family run business, and takes its name from the Auctioneer's mother's family.
Phil Griffiths is the Hendersons' Auctioneer and has 25 years experience in the antique trade, he has gathered a wealth of knowledge and awareness in identifying and valuing antiques and collectables.
Phil is always on hand to carry out valuations for clients throughout Shropshire and Mid Wales, either in the comfort of the client’s own home or if preferred brought to ourselves by appointment. We also have a team of advisors in Specialist areas to call on.
We offer a probate valuation service with a full written inventory of house contents.
Phil has a personal passion for English country furniture, enamel advertising signs, vintage mechanical corkscrews, early transportation memorabilia and is an expert in Vintage postcards.
Myself Jan Griffiths and my daughter Catherine Jones deal with the administration leading up to and during the sale, and are there to deal with the formalities as well as the finance. We are happy to answer any questions you might have.
My two sons Robert and Callum, and son-in-law Matthew are porters and together with the other porters will help you during and after the sale to find and load up items. Feel free to approach any one of us with any queries.
